Cecilia M.T.Suzuki's eyes, to the ophthalmologist's eyes, reflect all its basic contents, changing into a new reality, integrated to a special world where the different structures, tissues and cells are reorganized with an artist's harmony and a morphological fidelity.

It's an art valued by every people and much more when considering the anatomic and physiological knowledge that the public has of the eyes and different parts, because in all works the reality, even though fantastic, is present.

Married to one of the best and most creative Brazilian ophthalmologists, Cecilia M.T.Suzuki, through him acquired the scientific basis that, allied to the refined techniques, change the dark interior of the eyes, full of red and golden yellow in beautiful artistic elements, graphically arranged in an original, metaphysical,surrealistic,or realistic, but always in an authentic way.

Her works, praised in Universities and Medical Institutions in all continents, always place her in eminence in Brazil and abroad as an original and mature artist who coordinates the difficult thematic of science with the refined techniques and the constant creativeness.

I have known Cecilia Suzuki's work for almost 20 years. Due to my professional activities, countless times ophthalmologists DEMANDED some specific artwork from Cecilia to portray and advertise medical meetings.

Cecilia, however is much more than this. Inspired artist, methodical, driven by perfection. Demanding, admired she is also one of the sweetest and pleasant individuals I had the opportunity to meet. Friends,she has many, spread all over the world. The multitude of admirers of her work is also planetary. She regularly shows her paintings in intentional exhibitions, related or not with ophthalmic meetings.

Only Cecilia can reach, from the intricate structures of the eye, an oneiric vision that reminds me the great magic realism authors from literature. For me it is a privilege to write this forewords about Cecilia and moreover to count with her dear friendship.
